‘Oshu beni starts out in the early spring as deep burgundy. As summer approaches, so does an emerald hue in the center of the deep maroon leaf. Fall colors on this Japanese maple are bright scarlets. Oshu beni reaches 10-12 ft in 15 years making a great mid-sized upright Japanese maple. This Japanese maple is stunning when planted where the morning or afternoon sun can shine through the leaf creating a bright orange red glowing effect in your garden.
